MPS was selected to install mock-ups at a high-rise PA government building in Harrisburg, PA. The building has a façade that consists of stone panels with sealant between some panels and mortar between others. MPS will be installing both sealant and mortar mock-ups for a team of architects and engineers. The mock-ups will be tested to determine whether sealant or mortar is most appropriate for this building. The existing sealant on the building contains asbestos, so MPS will be working with Forrester Environmental to properly abate the sealant. MPS has worked with several government entities to complete mock-ups and set standards of quality on projects in the past and looks forward to another successful mock-up installation at this building.
